I do love my zoom camera lens as its allows me to zoom into scenes from a great distance and if I have a steady enough hand I’m actually capable of catching some pretty amazing shots with great detail, especially when it comes to raging water which is otherwise rather difficult to capture with my ordinary lens. Below are shots taken from both Bamburgh Beach in Northumbria and the Fairy Glen in North Wales.

There is something very special about bug waves. I could sit for hours just watching and listening to that sound. And of course take a few pictures. Great capture of water power!

In the first photo it really seems as if the sea is frozen

Enjoyed your photos. I can hear the waves! We’d love to walk in Snowdonia NP one day. My ancestors came from Coedpoeth, near Wrexham, so it’s in the blood maybe. Cheerios.
