In response to Daily Post’s Partners
For this week’s photo challange I decided to select a photo from my recent holiday to Northumerland, Puffin Partners!!! 😀
Did you know that puffins mate for life? Puffins actually spend most of their lives at sea but during the breeding season, a puffin will meet its previous partner offshore or whether they encounter each other before and then they return to their nest of the previous year. Once there, they set out improving and cleaning out the burrow, to make it all safe and snug for a new little puffling.

I love puffins and those are great shots. We used to walk along the cliffs in the North East of Scotland to see them.

That sounds amazing, I’d never seen puffins before, despite living near a place called Puffin Island.

Like all seabirds, they are noisy in a colony but the babies are soooo cute!
