Well, I handed in the last of my essays this week and I am off back home to Sussex tomorrow. Unfortunately I got to do so little of what I wanted to do in Snowdonia due to literally months of endless rain. At the moment I just want get home and enjoy some nicer weather.

However I was determine to enjoy just one last little walk in Wales, so one day when it stopped rainy briefly, I headed off with one of my flatmates to a nearby wetland known as the Spinnies, just outside of Bangor. Though we didn’t see much in the way of wildlife it was still nice to walk around such a quiet and peaceful place after the hectic last days of university.
